Gillette Gun Club

Rules and Regulations      Enter at your own risk

1. No alcoholic beverages allowed. 

2. Admittance by membership. 

3. Membership card must be in possession at all times. 

4. No firing of fully automatic weapons. 

5. Shooting must be done at paper, or approved Gun Club targets only. 

6. Shooting hours are: Sunrise to Sunset. 

7. No shooting of aerial targets, except with shotguns at the trap range. 

8. Shooters must lock the gate upon entering or leaving the range or trap range. 

9. Violations of these rules can result in criminal prosecution or loss of access privileges. 

10.Anyone caught using the facility with out paid membership or daily usage fee will be prosecuted for trespassing.  

Parents watch your children! 

Those under the age 18 shall be accompanied by an adult at all times.

 Any member has the right to reprimand behavior by anyone on the grounds that is harmful to the club or its facilities and is encouraged to do so

Trap Leagues Rules

Gillette Gun Club 2006 Summer Trap League

• All team members must be a member of the Gillette Gun Club by the league start date of May 2nd

• Teams will consist of 5 members plus two alternates. Members may be on more than one team.

• League will be for 14 weeks divided into 7 week halves. The first half will begin May 2nd  & will end June 15th  & the 2 half starts June 27th  & ends August 17th    The week of June 18th  will be make-up week for the first half & the week of August 20th  will be the 2nd  half make-up week Make-up will he shot on Tues & Thursdays only.

• There will be no shooting the week of July 2nd. We will be taking the 4th of July week off & league will resume again on July 11th.

• All first half targets must be shot by the close of shooting on June 22nd & no second half targets will be registered till the beginning of the second half on June 27th. All 2nd half targets must be shot by the close of shooting August 24th.

• Shooters may shoot as many weeks in advance as they desire, but must share the trap with others as the situation warrants.

• The total cost of league per team is $560.00 & this includes the $70.00 trophy fee charged each team. Individuals may pay by the week & the cost would be $8.00 or $7.00 if the team trophy/sponsorship is paid for.

• 50, 16 yard targets will be shot per week & the first 3 weeks will establish the classes. There will be 4 classes; A team 230 & up, B team 215- 229, C team 201-214, & D team 200 & below. Members may shoot individually or as a team.

• Teams winning both halves will be class winners. Teams winning only one half will be involved in a shoot-off to establish the class champion.

• Teams are responsible for posting their weekly scores & score sheets will be available for inspection if questions arise,

• Reloads may be shot if they conform to ATA specifications. Specs are; 7 ½ or smaller shot, 1 1/8 oz. shot max & not to exceed 1290 fps for 12 gauge loads. 1 oz. & 7/8 oz. loads may exceed 1290 fps.

• The Gillette Gun Club will have shells for sale at $4.00 a box or $37.00 a flat.

• The Gillette Gun Club reserves the right to modify these established guide lines to deal with issues that may come up during the course of the league.

• All team members are expected to use proper trap shooting etiquette & gun safety

• League practice will be on Tuesdays & Thursdays during the month of April. Operating hours will be 3-6 PM.
