Gillette Gun Club

League Trapshooting

Starting on April 2010, the club will be open on Tuesday and Thursday for practice. Times are from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P. M. and you can pick up league information at that time.

Summer trap league will begin in May. If you are on a team or are thinking of organizing a team, you can get all of the information you will need by stopping by the clubhouse and picking up the information sheets.

Gillette Gun Club will be hosting the Powder River Shootout at its facility, ¼ mile north on Hannum Road. The shoot will be for mine and mine vendor employees only. We will only be receiving 150 shooters, so please get signed up and paid up as soon as you can

The National High School Rodeo Finals (NHSRA) http://www.nhsra.com/ will be held at Gillette, Wyoming, July 18-22, 2010. Along with the rodeo competitions, there will be the very popular shooting competitions for young people. Trained and certified range safety officers and shooting safety instructors will be needed to volunteer at these shooting events. Due to this special need for certified shotgun instructors, certified rifle instructors and certified range safety officers at these NHSRA shooting events, National Rifle Association (NRA) training courses will be offered in February at a reduced cost.

Trophies will be cash awards.
Lewis options available for all events.
Special event on handicap events if enough entries.
Must have 3 entries for class trophies to be awarded.
Juniors shoot for $13 if no options are played.
Shells available at club.
Lunches served at Gold and Boot shoots.
